Ms. Zientek is a native of Houston, TX, where she competed in the WGI and TCGC units with her high school program at Klein Oak HS. Growing up completely Deaf, she quickly found her passion for dance/colorguard when she entered high school. Since graduating, she’s worked with various color guard, theatre, and indoor percussion programs in Houston and the surrounding areas as a drill writer, consultant, choreographer, and technician. She has also worked with the Guardians DBC for 4 years and is going on her second year on staff with the open class independent winter guard, Undaunted. Grace is currently entering her 6th year as a color guard director in Cy Fair ISD. When not involved in the sport of the arts, you can find her writing music/lyrics, spending time with friends/family, or playing in her band.
